Himlung Expedition

Himlung-Expedition

Himlung expedition is fresh and newly open trekking spot by the government of Nepal and the collaboration of Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). The brand new expedition is inaugurate in 1992 and first ascended by Japanese and French team Expedition. Himlung Himal is to be found in the Manaslu region, Northeast of the Annapurna vicinity. Himlung expedition pursue way of round Annapurna, which bestows a glorious phenomenal views of immaculate mountains.

Himlung Himal was only opened very recently for the expeditions. The fresh Himlung Himal is placed midst of Mt. Manaslu and the Annapurna ranges. Mount Himlung expedition emanate an amazing expedition cum trekking trip as the trail passes through very remote villages ‘Nar’ and ‘Phu’ at the Nepal and Tibet border.

We layout our first camp at 4900 meters at the upper border of ‘Phu’; however we normally set out three high camps to ascend the mountain. Opening camp at the elevation of 5450 meters, Second Camp at 6000 meters and a closing Camp at 6360 meters. The route towards Himlung always passes through high peaks, glaciers, remote villages, dense forests, monasteries and unique cultural encampments. Together, expedition put forward confidential culture integrated with comprehensive views of Nandadevi, Rajramba, Api Himal, Kappa Chuli peak and much more which are the jewels of the region.

Even as, Skyline Treks make every ideal effort to give chase through the itinerary, the adventure travel in the far-flung mountain region is unpredictable and involves high risk. Therefore, our expedition leaders are proficient and have capacity to make corrections of the itinerary if he thinks it’s necessary due to safety concerns and as well as regards of health.

Please pay your attention through the exhaustive itinerary and get back to us for any further assistance!
