Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Chola Pass Trek
Everest Base Camp through Gokyo Cho La Pass is one of its own kind trekking routes that’s known for the best views and unexpected adventures that whole of Everest region has to offer. It is our most frequented trek in the Everest region, which we recommend to all our clients looking for a greatest experience of the Everest region.
Like any other treks to the Everest region, Everest base camp and Gokyo Chola Pass trek also begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After 3 hours of walk from the Lukla airport we reach the first stop of the trail at Phakding. Continuing the trail, we pass through the Dudh Koshi Valley until we reach at Namche Bazaar, the home of the legendary sherpas’. The trail to Gokyo is a slow ascent up the valley passing through the patches of dense rhododendron and birch forests – the elusive musk deer is also seen sometimes.
The Gokyo peak (5480m) ascent is the center-point of this trek that bestows us with the incredible scenery of the magnificent Everest, Makalu, Cho OYu, Lhotse and Nuptse. Besides enjoying the unforgettable mountain beauty and the unique landscapes’, the trek also lets you have an insight of the local culture, rural lifestyles and their everyday struggle for the livelihood.
We are now accepting booking for this trek for March, April and May, one of the best times of the year to trek to the region. However, we do arrange for Everest base camp and Gokyo Chola pass trek throughout the year. | Day 2 | 40 minutes Fly to Lukla (2728m) with your mountain guide and introduce with porter |
| Day 3 | Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,446m) (5-6 hrs). Overnight in Lodge. (B, L, D) |
| Day 4 | Rest day at Namche for acclimatization and visit in Syangboche (Everest View Hotel) and back to Namche. |
| Day 5 | Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,870m) (4 hrs). Descend deep into the Dudh Koshi river |
| Day 6 | Tengbuche trek to Pheriche. (4240m) (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 7 | Pheriche trek to Lobuche (4930m) 5 hrs (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 8 | Lobuche trek to Gorak Shep, and ascent of Everest Base Camp (5350m) |
| Day 9 | Early morning before sunrise visit to Kala Pattar for the best panoramic view (5545m). |
| Day 10 | Trek to Dzongla (4843m) (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 11 | Cross Chola Pass (5420m) and overnight stay at Thagnak (3879 m) (7 hrs). |
| Day 12 | Trek to Gokyo (4750m) (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 13 | Hike to Gokyo Peak (5350m) stay at Machhermo (4410m). |
| Day 14 | Trek to Khumjung (3790m) (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 15 | Trek to Manjo (2810m) (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 16 | Trek from Manjo to Lukla via Phakding (2,840m) (5-6 hrs). |
| Day 17 | Flight from Lukla (2,840m) - Kathmandu (1,350m). And transfer to Hotel than rest of the time for shopping. |
| Day 18 | Onward departure to your destination by our private vehicle. 3 hrs before you have to be airport (B) |
| Day 1 | Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Airport and meet with our staff (One of our company staff will be waiting you at the Airport with display your name ".................." which is print on our company white board and pick up by our private car and than 20 minutes drive to the Hotel. After few minutes rest in hotel, Visit in our office and have hot/cold drinks (Tea/Coffee) waiting to serve and have join together, One of our staff will brief you regarding the trip and introduction with your trekking guide. | Day 2 | 40 minutes Fly to Lukla (2728m) with your mountain guide and introduce with porter and then commence trek to Phakding (2640m) 2 and half hrs. Overnight in Lodge (B.L.D) |
| Day 3 | Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,446m) (5-6 hrs). Overnight in Lodge. (B, L, D) |
| Day 4 | Rest day at Namche for acclimatization and visit in Syangboche (Everest View Hotel) and back to Namche. Overnight in Lodge. (B, L, D) |
| Day 5 | Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,870m) (4 hrs). Descend deep into the Dudh Koshi river and then ascend finally in Tengboche. Overnight in Lodge (B, L, D) |

| Day 9 | Early morning before sunrise visit to Kala Pattar for the best panoramic view (5545m). And return back to Gorakshep, having breakfast than continue trek down to Lobuche (4930m). 5hrs Overnight in Lodge (B, L, D) |
