Ama Dablam is the jewels of Everest region and in fact the name Ama Dablam is arise as Ama, means Mother and Dablam Means jewel of box or jewel box, the sanctified ornaments box which is worn by Sherpa community ladies. So that was the unique facet that attains the name Ama Dablam. Ama Dablam Expedition is the most stunning and impressive way that close up to the indelible natural beauty of Khumbu region.

Ama Dablam is one of the most enthralling peaks of the Himalaya. It’s habitually celebrated as the ‘Matterhorn of the Himalaya’ positioned at the core heart of the good looks ‘Everest region’. The stupendous ice-coated granite pyramid of ‘Ama Dablam’ at all times dominating the sky above the trekker’s trail to the illustrious ‘Everest Base Camp’. The mountain accommodates its name from the glacier lying on its south-west face. The glacier appears as a jewel box hanging on the neck of the mountain. Hence, ‘Ama Dablam’ means ‘mothers jewel box’. When the expedition team led by Edmund Hillary ascended the mountain for the first time, Hillary was almost imprisoned by Nepal’s Royal King for making every effort the sacred ‘Ama Dablam’.

While Skyline Treks endeavor their level best to follow through the itinerary, the adventure travel in the remote mountain region is erratic and involves high peril. Therefore, our expedition leader has power to amend the itinerary if he thinks it’s necessary due to safety concerns.

April 12 Day 02 Kathmandu free
April 13 Day 03 Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism
April 14 Day 04 Flight to Lukla and commence trek to Phakding/Monjo
April 15 Day 05 Monjo-Phakding – Namche Bazaar
April 16 Day 06 Acclimatization & rest day. O/N at Teahouse Lodge
April 17 Day 07 Namche Bazaar – Tengboche
April 18 Day 08 Tengboche – Ama Dablam Base Camp
April 19- May 03 Day 09-23 Climbing period for Ama Dablam
May 04 Day 24 Clean up Base Camp and back pack
May 05 Day 25 Trekking back to Tengboche
May 06 Day 26 Tengboche – Namche Bazaar
May 07 Day 27 Namche Bazaar – Lukla
May 08 Day 28 Early flight back to Kathmandu
May 09 Day 29 Free in Kathmandu. Rest of the time for shopping. Join us for the farewell dinner at Nepali typical restaurant in the evening at 07:00 PM with culture program.
May 10 Day 30 Onward departure to your destination by our private vehicle
April 11 Day 01 Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Airport and meet with our staff (One of our company staff will be waiting you at the Airport with display your name ".................." which is print on our company white board and pick up by our private vehicle and than 20 minutes drive to the Hotel. After few minutes rest in hotel, Visit in our office and have hot/cold drinks (Tea/Coffee) waiting to serve and have join together, One of our staff will brief you regarding the trip and introduction with your Mountaineering guide. O/N at hotel.
April 12 Day 02 Kathmandu free.
April 13 Day 03 Official work for expedition and briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
April 14 Day 04 40 minutes flight to Lukla 2860m. And commence trek to Phakding 2622m./Monjo. Lodge.
April 15 Day 05 Monjo-Phakding – Namche Bazaar 3446m. O/N at T. Lodge.
April 16 Day 06 Acclimatization & rest day. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
April 17 Day 07 Namche Bazaar – Tengboche 3867m. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
April 18 Day 08 Tengboche – Ama Dablam Base Camp 4600m. O/N at Camping.
April 19- May 03 Day 09-23 Climbing period for Ama Dablam 6812m.
May 04 Day 24 Clean up Base Camp and back pack. O/N at Camping.
May 05 Day 25 Trekking back to Tengboche. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
May 06 Day 26 Tengboche – Namche Bazaar. O/N at Teahouse Lodge.
May 07 Day 27 Namche Bazaar – Lukla then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
May 08 Day 28 Early flight back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
May 09 Day 29 Free in Kathmandu. Rest of the time for shopping. Join us for the farewell dinner at Nepali typical restaurant in the evening at 07:00 PM with culture program.
May 10 Day 30 Onward departure to your destination by our private vehicle. 3 hrs before you have to be airport
